In her final year, she presented a Grand Rounds presentation on Non-Artiritic Optic Neuropathy, which is a true ocular emergency that can result in permanent loss of vision.  Dr. Martini completed two clinical internships in the Houston area giving her a leg up on the most recent advancements in eye care.  

Dr. Martini is a Therapeutic Optometrist which allows her to both diagnosis and treat infections of the eye.  Dr. Martini is able to diagnose diseases of the eye including Diabetic and Hypertensive Retinopathy, Glaucoma, and Cataracts.  She is able to co-manage LASIK as well.  Dr. Martini prides herself with cases of hard to fit contacts including keratoconus and bifocal RGP's along with orthokeratology, also known as corneal refractive therapy.

Dr. Martini is a member of the Aransas Pass, Ingleside, Rockport and Portland Chambers of Commerce.
Dr. Martini has chosen to practice in the coastal bend to give back to the community she loves so much.​​

Dr. Amanda Martini is a local to the community; born and raised in Ingleside, Texas.  After graduating from Ingleside High School, she went to Texas A&M Corpus Christi where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a Pre-Medical emphasis in May 2002.  While there, she cofounded and was the President of the first Honors Fraternity on campus, Alpha Epsilon Delta.  While working as an Optometric Assistant in college, she decided that her passion was Optometry and became motivated to pursue her Doctor of Optometry Degree.

From there, Dr. Martini went to the University of Houston College of Optometry where she received her Doctor of Optometry degree in May 2006.  During her clinical rotations, Dr. Martini received multiple Clinical Letters of Excellence in the Family Practice, Pediatrics, Contact Lenses, and Glaucoma fields.
